Raising funds can be time consuming and sometimes soul destroying!

That is where the SSFA come in.

We will take away all the pressure and stress involved in raising the funds your school needs. This, while freeing up your teachers for much needed spare and PPA time. Pupils will get the chance to participate in several different sporting activities in which they will obtain sponsorship from their friends and families.

Two weeks before the event day, the SSFA staff will attend a pre arranged, mutually convenient school assembly, to inform & motivate the pupils for the event, so the maximum participation is achieved.fundraising-letter-front- master[2]

On conclusion of the assembly, the SSFA will leave the school with the double sided informative letters & sponsor forms for the children to take home. (pictured right)

The event day will be managed by 2 fully qualified & CRB checked SSFA staff. Each class of children will be collected from their classroom & escorted out to the school field/playground/gym to participate in the 3 events chosen by the school. This will last around 30-40 minutes per class.

Schools select 3 sports for the pupils to participate in from: – Football – Tennis – Rugby – Dodgeball – Lacrosse – Shot-Put – Javelin – Discus – Baseball – Netball – Basketball – Hockey

Upon completing the event, children will be escorted back to their classroom and the next class will be taken out. The process is repeated until all classes have participated in the event. We normally get through 7/8 classes per school day. If there are more than 7/8classes we can run the event over 2 days. This can be flexible to individual school needs.

When the event is complete, the SSFA staff will return to the school assembly at a mutually convenient date to present:

A certificate to every participant who raised funds.

An engraved trophy to every year group.

A Star Prize to the pupil who gained the most sponsorship in the school. (Mountain Bike etc)

Bronze, Silver & Gold medals to the schools top fundraisers. (Those who raised £10 £15 or £20 )

A Commemorative framed certificate will be given to the school stating their amounts raised

Profits from the event will be divided as:

65% to the School

35% to the Academy

The 35% Academy share Is to cover the cost of running the event including trophies, medals, certificates, insurance, stationary, printing, staffing the event for the days required as well as the grand prize of a mountain bike / iPod etc.
